Breakfast:
Daily Greens Purity
Tervis full of ice water
1/2 bottle of Lipton diet Green Tea Citrus
Lunch:
Salad
5 pieces of ham
Snack:
Daily Greens Renew
Pineapple Greek yogurt
Dinner:
Turkey lettuce wrap
Done! I feel so accomplished that I made it thru the four day cleanse! And so motivated to continue a healthy lifestyle! I will still enjoy my queso, wine, and goldfish, but I think I will be more conscious of the choices I make. One easy change I made this week was having lettuce turkey wraps, using lettuce instead of a tortilla. This was an easy switch for me that saved a few extra calories without sacrificing too much!
Here are a few tips I would give others who are beginning the Daily Grend Cleanse:
1. Drink lots if water! The point of a cleanse is to flush out all the toxins in your body! If you do not drink enough water, you will not get rid of all the toxins!
2. Find a juice that you want to drink. I had a really hard time with the first juice I had, but after trying a few, I found one I actually enjoyed drinking! The Daily Greens Renew juice did not have that "green" taste that I couldn't continue drinking.
3. Stay positive! This was the hardest one for me, but after a day of no complaining and just continuing as I normally would, the cleanse became so much easier for me!
4. Find a plan that works for you. In this cleanse, the Daily Juice company recommends no animal products. I knew this would be very hard for me so I incorporated eggs and lunch meat. Finding what works for you, makes it easier to stay on the cleanse!
Overall I think this cleanse has been really beneficial to me and I will definitely do it again. Daily Greens recommends doing a cleanse once a season to flush out all the toxins and jump start healthy living!
Feel free to leave any comments or ask questions about the cleanse!

Daily Greens Juice Cleanse - Day 3
Breakfast:
Daily Greens Harmony
Lipton diet Citrus Green Tea
Tervis full of iced lemon water
Lunch:
Daily Greens Harmony
Tervis full of iced lemon water
Fage Greek Yogurt with honey and 1 scoop of HEB chocolate indulgence trail mix
2 hard boiled eggs
Snack:
Pickles
Salad
Dinner:
Light bag Cesar salad
Avocado, tomatoes, onion salad
Hamburger pattie with Rudy's BBQ sauce
Asparagus
3 days down, 1 more to go! Doing my little happy dance over here! I have never stuck to healthy eating this long before, and I am feeling super proud of myself! Today was the easiest day on the cleanse. I woke up and got started with my day right away. I wasn't negative thinking about all the things I can't have, which is the whole mentality change I kept reading and hearing about. Instead, I just stayed busy and only grabbed things to snack on that I knew I could have. I still had a crash around 12:00, but after eating lunch I picked right back up. For anyone out there trying the cleanse, I would recommend starting with a positive attitude where you are not thinking about all the things you can't have. My easiest day was today and I think it is all because of the positive outlook I had on the cleanse! I'm not seeing the results on the scale yet, but I am definitely feeling better! (and that's what counts right?!) :P

Daily Greens Juice Cleanse - Day 1
Just like I've fallen off the blog wagon, I have also fallen if the healthy living one! After a week of binge eating and drinking, celebrating my best friends wedding in Florida, I decided I needed to make a change. I have been wanting to do a cleanse for over a year and just never found the one that works for me. I CANNOT give up food! I was walking through HEB and found this Daily Greens juice in the all natural section. I did a little research and decided to give it a go! Day one was a little easier than I thought.
Breakfast:
Daily Greens Purity
Tervis full of ice water
1/2 bottle of Lipton diet Green Tea Citrus
Around 9:00 I drank some water and my first Daily Greens juice. I started with the Purity blend. It has kale, parsley, broccoli, cucumber, celery, lemon, and basil. It had a very "green" taste. The cucumber and celery were very strong with a hint of parsley and lemon. It was a little hard to drink towards the end of the bottle when it wasn't as cold. I could drink it again, but it would not be my first choice. If you don't like "green" juices, this isn't for you. This drink held me over until 11:00. Then my "hangey" feelings started kicking in full blast!
Lunch:
Daily Greens Harmony
Salad (lettuce, tomatoes, onion, bell peppers, and greek dressing, which was not on the diet)
Tervis full of water
I felt much better after eating something. This Harmony blend of Daily Greens was so much better! It's a mix of kale, celery, fennel, lemon, apple, pear and ginger. You definitely get more of the fruit tastes in this juice. It was much easier for me to drink
Snack:
1/2 bottle of Daily Greens Vitality
Carrots and bell peppers dipped in yogurt based dip
Water
I'm beginning to realize why the water is so important! I got really dehydrated this afternoon and really needed some water. This Daily Greens bottle, Vitality, is made of kale, jalapeƱos, pineapple, cucumber, cilantro, celery, lime and Himalayan sea salt. This juice blend had a spicy kick to it! You could definitely taste the jalapeƱos and cilantro but it surprisingly went pretty well! I only had half a bottle because I was always
Dinner:
Salad (lettuce, tomatoes, bell peppers, onion, croutons (oops!), and light Olive Garden dressing)
Lettuce wrap (horseradish mustard, ham, onion, and tomatoes)
I broke down and threw some croutons on my salad! I can't go all day without eating anything crunchy.
Out of the three juices I had, I would recommend the Harmony blend, especially for someone who is new to juicing. At the end of day one... I feel fairly energized, ready to do it again, and really needing to pee!
